The nation's energy transport monopoly has warned producers they might have to reduce production due to repeated Ukrainian unmanned strikes on key export facilities and processing plants.

Transport Company Imposes Capacity Limitations

The company, managing over 80% of all oil produced in Russia, has recently restricted producers' ability to hold oil in its transport network, according to industry sources.

The firm additionally warned producers it may have to process less oil should their facilities experiences further damage.

Ukrainian Tactic: Striking Energy Infrastructure

Kyiv military sources have stated that drone attacks have frequently targeted Russia's refineries, reducing processing output by as much as a 20%, and damaged export hubs such as Ust-Luga and Primorsk.

EU leadership is advocating speeding up the elimination of Russia's energy imports, declaring that “Russia's war economy, sustained by income from fossil fuels, funds the conflict in Ukraine”.

US leadership has authorized the initial weapons shipments for Ukraine, marking the resumption of American arms support to Kyiv.

Kyiv sources state that up to now in September alone, Russia has launched over 3,500 unmanned aircraft and almost 190 missiles against Ukraine.
