Heartbroken Is Not an Adequate Description - Hatton's Son Shares Emotional Homage
Ricky Hatton's son Campbell stated that heartbroken isn't the word as he paid an touching tribute to his parent.
Former world champion the boxer passed away at his home in Greater Manchester on the weekend.
Police indicated there were not any unusual circumstances related to the 46-year-old's demise.
In his earliest public message since the loss, Campbell posted a collection of photographs on social media on Tuesday and wrote: "Words can't describe this pain.
"Many has always remarked I was your double - not once a honest word said. Respected you in each way of life.
"Can't explain how much I'm going to long for the good times we had and all the memories, which I will remember forever. Just can't accept we won't have any more. Adore you, Dad."
Boxing Achievements
The athlete achieved victory in 45 of his 48 professional matches during a successful boxing career, and was titleholder at 140-pound and welterweight divisions. He final bout in the ring in 2012, though had planned to return into the ring in October.
Called 'Hitman Hatton', he established himself as a hugely popular fighter with charisma inside and outside the ring - an reported 30,000 fans flew to watch his title fight against the iconic Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas in 2007.
Campbell was also a athlete and won his first 14 professional fights. He retired earlier this year.

Hatton's family issued a message on Monday in which they addressed the flood of support and condolences towards him.
"He had a heart as generous as his smile, and his compassion, charm and loyalty impacted everyone who was fortunate enough to know him," they expressed.
